you know as an artist i have one huge flaw. I don’t have an attention span. Tough I would probably be able to draw quite beautiful drawing, and I could for sure learn how to use my tablet and colour those pictures I just don’t have the concentration for it. The same go’s for a lot of other things, I could be a much better writer, would I actually spend time on it, the same go’s for costume design. I cant honestly say that I ever have managed to draw something keep doing so for more then 15 minutes tops, nor that I ever pick up old drawings and work further on them. My whole interest knowledge works like that, I know dozens of gaming systems because they appealed to me at some point, I still like most of them, its just that something else came along. the project I managed furthest would be forgotten redemption (I’m not even sure about the title.) of which I think I posted the first chapter here, read it and say what you think if you whant, I wonder what people think of it now, myself I now think of it as a x-men ripof, even tough I did hardly know x-men when I wrote it.. Even money isn’t a good stimuli. There is a game company that is looking for adventures for their d20 settings and will pay for them if they put them online, heck you even get half the money people pay for it. But even tough I could have whipped up many adventures for them I lost track soon enough. (they did email me a few days ago if I still had idea’s, so perhaps I might actually finish something!) there are things I do keep up longer, but there is one reason for that, other people who are involved in my life. I do keep up painting warhammer, because a friend keeps bugging me enough to get me on it. I once had the idea for a steampunk larp. This idea seems to be picked up greatly and my girlfriend has been able to get me going on it for quite some time, you can expect some steampunk costume work from me in the future perhaps.
You know, for all my lack of interest I appear to keep up shooting out quite good concepts all the time. Even when working on school projects I insert quite needed lines here and there, but struggle to produce entire parts I should make. It’s a wonder I still keep up my study after half a year, even now the only friend who decided to do the same study is planning to quit it, he is planning on doing a theather and movie prop building study, something I would also like greatly, tough we both know that if he ever gets started on a business like that I would soon enough be involved. Together we produce real nice idea’s so I suppose that staying friend with him is kind of an escape into the creative industry for me.
If I finish this study and manage to become part of some big gaming company I hope I would be able to pop in on the concept department all the time.

You know, when looking at deviant art I cant help but feel that I would be able to do something as awesome as the rest of you, if I only would take some time to do so. That’s perhaps why I don’t post anymore.
